English Language Arts and Reading (ELAR)
1. Smart Tutor Education Programs:
- Comprehensive K-12 curriculum that provides additional support in all core areas. Under the ELAR component, this curriculum provides support for elementary students in the following areas: phonics, phonemic awareness, vocabulary, sight words, and reading comprehension.
2. Language Arts Games:
- This website provides a variety of educational games for all grade levels. In addition to games, this website can be extremely helpful as high school students begin preparing for SAT and ACT testing.
3. Discovery Education:
- We have worked with our content partners to make the Viruses and Outbreak Channel available to the communities our U.S. school systems serve so that parents, caregivers, and other adults have the same access to the materials children are being taught in schools. If you are a Discovery Education partner and are interested in obtaining a login for the Viruses and Outbreak Channel that you can send to members of your community, please fill out the Experience Access Request form.
4. Brain Pop:
- Recognizing the enormous impact this situation has on a school community, we are offering free, unlimited use of BrainPOP to any school, anywhere that is closed due to the coronavirus during the period of their closure.
- Consider using BrainPOP’s animated movies, assessment resources, and creative tools for:
- Distance learning
- Support for projects and homework
- Keeping students on track with their studies

Offers free access to all features to support distance learning in schools affected by the coronavirus outbreak.
Math
1. Khan Academy:
- This resource will provide an environment to learn or relearn math skills for all grade levels. The Khan website provides several levels of practice problems, along with videos to demonstrate each skill. Additionally, this web site provides support in the following areas: science, engineering, economics, arts & humanities as well as Test prep.
2. S.O.S. Math:
- This website provides extra support for high school level math. This website is divided into two components: math type and the specific skill within the math type.

- This website offers a variety flashcards, timelines and review games for math, science, language arts, and social studies. The material on this website supports elementary and middle school grade levels.
4. KERA Learn! Education website:
- KERA’s website is user friendly for educators, students, and families. This website has thousands of digital resources from trusted sources to enrich learning at school, at home and to help promote community engagement. SEARCH TIP: Filter by “Age” and “Category” (i.e. home, school). The material on this website supports elementary, middle and high school grade levels.
